Dave,
PKI is not really available in the true form for the HP. What we've done in the
past is have a PC process that has the PGP software and key information on
it, and scheduled the HP to sent it's files down to the PC, then let a PC
process wake up and encrypt the file from the HP, that process would then
deliver to the remote site, or move to a folder that the remote site could
retrieve. The reverse would also hold true, if the remote site were sending
encrypted files, the PC process could decrypt and deliver to the HP or the HP
could pick it up.
There are other ways to encrypt directly on the HP, but none will offer the
security and key mgmt abilablty of the PGP process running on a PC.
Regards,
Jason
