I'm looking at the 3rd edition copyrighted 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987 and page 141
still has the same extract.  I agree with Ken VE-SOFT need to move at least to
the 4th edition and correct this misgiving!

        In this case the appropriate and proper penance is clear:
        VE-SOFT should produce and publish a completely updated
        and revised SECOND EDITION of the above classic literary
        work....         (note there is NO   :-)   or   ;-)  ...  I'm serious).
