Just a FYI.

I just found out today that the new OMNIBACK Ver 3.5 now includes the
long-awaited agent for MPE/iX!!!

Support includes MPE/iX 5.5 Express 7 and up.

The agent is obtained when you buy or upgrade the OpenView/OMNIBACK II
environment to 3.5. and I *assume* ask for the client license for the
e3000.

I have no idea what charge, if any there is yet.

Traditionally, OPENVIEW stuff is sold by HP direct and/or your HP 9000
distributor.

I have no further details yet, other than B6951AA is a key OpenView part
number. That may be enough to get the ball rolling on a purchase,
but...???

Just remember there are LOTS of options and licenses involved, typical of
OpenView products.

Hope this helps,

Chris the geek
