I'm having a problem getting MOVER from JAZZ. When I try to get a copy
of MOVER, I get it to my HP 3000, but when I try to run it, I get the
messages:
FAILED TO LOAD PROGRAM MOVER.MOVER.COMM (LDRERR 469)
File is not a valid program file. (CIERR 630)
LISTF shows:
ACCOUNT= COMM GROUP= MOVER
FILENAME CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE----
SIZE TYP EOF LIMIT R/B SECTORS #X MX
MOVER NMPRG 128W FB 2032 2032 1 2032 1 1
which tells me that the problem must be internal to the program file.
Below is the procedure I used to put MOVER on my system.
1) On the JAZZ page (from Netscape) I clicked on "RYDER binary". The
binary was downloaded to my PC as MOVER.BIN.
2) I disconnected from my internet provider (dial-in).
3) I reboot my PC, loading the WRQ and Netware drivers for LAN access.
4) I run REFLECTIONS 1, version 4.10.
5) I log onto my HP 3000 (RELEASE C.50.00 MPE/iX HP31900 B.79.06) as a
user with ALL capabilities.
6) I set the file equate:
:file mover.mover;rec=128,1,f,binary;code=nmprg
7) On the REFLECTIONS file transfer screen, I select MOVER.BIN as the
local file name, MOVER.MOVER as the host file name (the MOVER group has
been built previously, and has all group capabilities).
8) I set the TRANSFER METHOD to BINARY.
9) I click on the TRANSFER TO HOST arrow button.
10) The file uploads to my HP 3000.
11) I verify that there is now a MOVER.MOVER file with LISTF (see LISTF
output above).
12) I try to RUN MOVER and get the following:
:run mover.mover
FAILED TO LOAD PROGRAM MOVER.MOVER.COMM (LDRERR 469)
File is not a valid program file. (CIERR 630)
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks for your help!
John.
