Have you used Microsoft software lately?  I'm not being facetious - I am truly amazed that software from MS can work over and over again, then fail under seemingly identical (or at least not unusual) circumstances.  I realize that *something* is different when these apparently random hangs and crashes occur, but that makes them no less mysterious and frustrating.  By most accounts, things are improving with newer releases.  I sure hope so!
