I found some interesting lines in IODFAULT.PUB.SYS for MPE/iX 5.5:

         {3.50" 9.0 GB Single-Ended SCSI Disk Device.

so...it would be interesting to try one of those drives on 5.5!

BTW, "ST" is a Seagate drive.  I'm not sure about "XP".
