xmodem and the 3k are not the best of friends. How do I start this.... we
have these handheld computers out in our route trucks, they talk to the 3k
every night via xmodem. On the handheld side we were using an off the shelf
package and on the 3k side we were using the CSL code that was originally to
talk to 150 or the like. The CSL code doesn't really play by the rules,
partially due to the I/O limitations on the classic boxes. This caused a lot
of dial-in failures for us! I made a version of the program that plays
closer to the xmodem rules, but I ripped out a lot of code that we didn't
need. If anybody wants a copy of it I will gladly send them a copy of the
source, just be warned that it is a somewhat specialized version. Oh.. and
it's in SPL.

This actually brings up another issue... some DTC's work better then others.
The DTC48's work the best. The DTC 16/ix, and I assume DTC 72's, will give
you fits. They can get overloaded fairly easy and start spitting out
xon/xoff even though you told it not to.
