Not *quite* right, Joe...

In Britain, any medicine which can actually do you any good (but isn't
so powerful that you can only get it on prescription from a doctor) can
only be bought from a pharmacy, staffed by a qualified pharmacist, who
must be present when you buy it, and not on their lunch-hour, say.

So you can't get it in a newsagent's, garage or 24-hour convenience
store. Matter-of-fact, you can't even get it in a Tesco or Spar unless
they have a specific pharmacy department with a pharmacist there. But if
they have, you're fine.

Otherwise, try a Boots the Chemists store, or a Superdrug. On every High
Street.

And think twice about Immodium. Even in the new Plus formulation, it
doesn't do what they claim. Sure, it might let you choose your moment(s)
better, but it doesn't exactly stop the traffic.

Better to ask the pharmacist for a bottle of 'Kaolin and Morphine' (yes,
truly) Now that *really* says =SHUTDOWN where the sun don't shine
(i.e. in Britain!)

Tony, all the best for your trip

Roy
