A colleague of mine asked me to post this question:

We have a portion of a job that retrieves passwords at runtime. The
passwords show up in the $stdlist. This creates security concerns. We are
looking for a way (a command) we can add to the JCL to cause the operating
system to suppress text appearing in the $stdlist until we say it's ok to
resume reporting the job's activity.

An example might be:

!JOB...
!STDLISTBLABOFF
!our secret stuff
!STDLISTBLABON

Any ideas ?
