Dave,

we have both. We had to go for ADAGER when we had the 1st JUMBO Dataset because
DBGENRL does not support this.

ADAGER works perfect in every aspect but DBGENRL seems to be more userfriendly
out of our developer's & DBA perspectives. They use ADAGER to fix specific
problems (like broken chains) and DBGENRL for "normal" stuff.

I personally am happy to have ADAGER but I also still make use of DBGENRL ...

If you have to decide on one only go for ADAGER - early or later you will see
the great benefit in the support of this tool which covers more than "normal"
support!
