We have an HP 3000/939 system with RELEASE: C.55.00, MPE/iX HP31900
C.05.08, USER VERSION: C.55.05. We applied pp5 (Power Patch 5) on that
system. I ran into a problem with the database password list using
DBUTIL and I am not sure if this is related to the patch. Mostly
password 8 and 11 has the problem (i.e. If we add a password that
contains the letter "a" it turns into the letter "e"). Also, binary
zeroes and the character "$" show in password number 8 and 11 when no
passwords are assigned in those 2 spots, and there is no way of getting
rid of them. Every single database on that system has that problem. We
also have SAF/3000 security and audit facility installed on this system
(Monterey Software Group Inc.).
Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nagi
