My dear friends,

I know it's not something a lot a you would like to think of,
but my employer is slowly transfering our systems to the ux platform.

We have this 3000-987 that is becoming more and more obsolete. We asked =
hp if they could convert it to a 9000 (an H50) for us. We all know this =
is a job you can do in under half an hour if you happen to have a 200lx =
and the right software.

Do you have any idea how much money hp wants for this half an hour.
40000,- guilders; that is over us$25000,-
I'm not making a mistake here. twentyfive thousand dollars.

If you realize we are throwing away our expensive FOS, and that buying =
an hp3000 is much more expensive than buying the same machine called =
HP9000 you will agree this is real madness.

Please anyone, tell me they have made a mistake.
Or is there anyone outhere that would like to swap their hp9000 for a =
hp3000?

Thanks,
