A while ago, I had to convert my HPIB 2566A to a serial connection. It seems
to me that I lost a lot of features. We've always had headers off, but after
the conversion, the miserable line up lines print again. And, we seem to
have lost page level recovery, and the 3000 no longer knows exactly what the
printer is doing. Anyway, we've lived with it so far, but I'm getting tired
of manually having to line up odd sized forms after a paper jam.
Are there any particular settings I should be using.
It's defined as type 22, 19200 bps, 132 rec width, modem type 0, modem
behavior 0, no parity, 1 stop bit, no hardware handshake, y initially spooled,
y flow control, n NLIO device, and assigned to device class LP.
If I'm missing something obvious, please let me know. Thanks.
