The only thing I can think of to that is DUH!
I wouldn't use a Quick block mode screen using Telnet, as they would take
on the same characteristics as a View/3000 screen. I haven't seen a Quick
block mode screen in 9 years. I didn't think anyone still used them, so I
forgot to mention them, sorry.
The last vendor app on my previous job was a Powerhouse app. called
Visibility. They never used Block Mode, stating that Character Mode kept
the behavior similar to their other platform versions. (The HP3K was one
they've abandoned on their latest releases.)
