Hi Stan,
Thanks for taking the time to complete the survey.
FYI, This survey is produced by Interex and for the first time is also
sponsored by OpenView Forum, ITUG, Encompass, HP-Interex EMEA and the
confederation of HP User Groups Worldwide. Virtually all of HP's User Groups
are participating in the process. (for those that haven't been to the site,
check it out www.hpcustomersurvey.com -- we'd love to get your input)

We appreciate your input on the survey whether positive or negative, after
all, that is what it's all about.

I have included a section of the survey instructions to answer your question
about the satisfaction ranking scale:

Question formats
------------------------------
The survey contains 4 types of questions:
1. Closed-ended questions with ordered response choices- select the
choice(s) that is/are most applicable to you and the organization you are
representing by your participation in the survey.

2. Closed-ended questions with 5 point satisfaction ranking scale -indicate
your level satisfaction by selecting a rating from 1-5. Ratings are as
follows:
a. 1= not at all satisfied
b. 2= mostly dissatisfied
c. 3=neither satisfied or dissatisfied
d. 4=mostly satisfied
e. 5=very satisfied

3. Open-ended questions- provide your comments related to the current
section of the survey you are working on.

4. Demographic questions- select the choice(s) that is/are most applicable
to you and the organization you are representing by your participation in the
survey. Your answers in this section are a very important part of the survey
analysis.

Best Regards,
