I agree. This needs to be evaluated and looked into.

However the question is when?
After we hear results of the investigation about the release of the name of
the CIA agent?
After we hear results of the investigation about "what did the government
know before 9/11"?
After we hear results of the investigation about "why did we really go to
war"? [...]47_16Mar200414:22:[log in to unmask]

Wirt speaks of the changing of politics in the Republican and Democratic
parties. Everyone in the haste to disagree repeats exactly what he said. The
point is that even in the days of John Fremont the Republican Party was
always the party of Business. Moral ranting aside the northern mill owners
knew that slavery was bad for business.

In politics "States Rights" like "Civil Rights" is a red herring. Everyone
is pursuing there own vested interests. Republicans are no worse than
Democrats and no better. Neither has the interest of the working people in
mind. Each doles out small drabs of hope. Each reels in the poor fools that
attempt to turn that hope into reality.

To quote Mercutio, "A plague o' both your houses."

Scott Gates cleverly said that the parties passed each other in the middle
without noticing it. I know that the populace never seemed to notice it. In
recent years party politics has foisted on us such choices as a vitriolic
mean spirited old man vs. a sell my principles to get re-elected young man
(with ole "lookee here" thrown in the mix) and now soulless simp out of
country club toastmaster vs. a I never had any principles to sell
politician.

America has come to accept that they must vote for the lesser of evils. A
lesser evil is still evil. I refuse to vote for evil. I believe it is a
moral obligation to vote against evil.

My late friend Huey P. Newton said, "If you are not part of the solution you
are part of the problem." Dubya says, "If y'all aren't with me y'all are
agin me." The Bible says, "I have put before you Life and Death. Choose
Life." Which paradigm of interdependency do you choose?

Pray for Peace,
Yosef
