Any and all suggestions welcome.

We have a workstation setup consisting of a Symbol scanner, barcode
printer, wedge and 700/92. We currently have several of these workstations
running through DTC's. We are now trying to connect these using telnet.

We are experience problems in a vplus screen with this set up. In the
original set up when the scanner entered a number it would supply the enter
key. Over Telnet the enter key seems to get stripped off.

I was not here when the original work on these setups was done. Answers to
the following questiosn may help me debug the problem.

Questions,

1. Can someone explain how the Symbol scanner/wedge works?

2. Is anyone running anything beside plain terminal I/O over a telnet
connection?

3. Can someone familar with telnet take a stab at what may be happening?

Thanks in advance,

Andy
