Ordina provides a tool called edWin that does 2 things that may be of
interest to you:
1) it converts the VFORM file into (human & machine readable) XML
2) it implements all VPLUS intrinsics like VOPENFORMF, VGETNEXTFORM,
VSHOWFORM etc so that your cobol/C/pascal programs can continue to use them.
The new version of these intrinsics uses the XML file rather than the VFORM
file.
A graphical painter/editor is provided to maintain the forms inside the new
environment. Or for the truly brave, you could edit the XML by hand.
There's some more info on http://hp3000.ordina-denkart.com/edwin3k.htm
If you need any further information, let me know.

Geert
