Actually, i believe the detroit conference was the best.  Even if you
did not get on the killer yacht party,  there was so..so.. much excitement
bout PA RISC, which was the theme of the conference.  there were
hundreds of h.p. people there,including Biernbaum (who did the KeyNote)
and 5 top executives.  That conference set HP off from the crowd and is
responsible for their bottom line today (well, not the conference but
the new {at that time} Tech.).

That's why i started the thread "Sucky INTEREX party" .  INTEREX
*should* manage the event, *but* they should get the RUG involved....
