On a 928RX we are going to convert from standard SCSI disc drives to an
AutoRAID array (12H).

Problem is this is a 24/7 system. Every moment of downtime is very costly.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to reduce the downtime from the
several hours that would be required for a full back-up to tape followed by
a full restore to the raid array?

Is it possible to copy the current 7 individual drives directly to the
AutoRAID array without the intermediary of tape?

Any other suggestions, gotchya's etc.?

Thanks in advance.
