This is the text of a support letter I sent to HP 1/12/00.  I have not yet
received a response.  Any help anyone could give me would be most
appreciated.


I use my 8100N to do large volume printing of letters from our Dec Alpha
2100 server which runs OpenVMS 6.2

I need to have a signature appended to each letter as it prints, which we
were able to do with the old Printronix printer.  I have successfully
downloaded the signature image to the printer's harddrive and using the esc
seq of Ec&fdianay3X
where diana is the name of the stored image.  When I do this, the signature
prints, but only in the upper left corner of the document.  This occurs
regardless of the position of the esc seq in the file being sent to the
printer and regardless of any additional Esc seq's I add.

Our credit department is now hand signing 3,000 - 5,000 letters everyday.
We appreciate any help you can lend.
