HP offers the creation of the cartridge and logs as well as other neat
things. The basic concept is that they take any picture , a logo, a
signature and break it into segments on a grid. They map each segment
into a character for a font and then you select that font and print each
character  and presto the picture is printed.


IE   picture has a grid placed over it     |__|__|__|__|__|          the
grid is mapped to  A B C D E

your locate and select the font for the new characters and print ABCDE
and you have your picture

I can't lay my hands on HP Font solutions phone number but you can get if
off of HP FIRST or the Reponse Centre (sorry i'm canadian) Center.....
