A note to all from my own personal experience with MDX/DDX.
 
DDX works perfectly, MDX does not and will trash your database eventually  if 
you keep using it.
 
MDX will trash the user labels in the dataset file (not the root file). 
 
I cannot even begin to tell you the grief and trouble it has given me in  the 
past. 
 
I just don't use it anymore.
 
HP are well aware of the MDX problem but have no intention of fixing  it.
