In the First Book of Adam and Eve I mentioned earlier, Adam was really upset
that God told him his entire plan until the end was five and one half days,
so figured that was all the time he had left to live.  God took pity on him
and explained that in this case a "day" was 1000 years, and that the length
for the whole plan of creation through it's final destruction was really
5000 + 500, or 5500 years.  -dtd
