But while Eisenhower would allow our guard to drop (not making
guns/tanks/building your army) he would open the door for our enemies to
come and slaughter those hungry people he's trying to feed.

So, if we build our military strength to protect our citizens, all we'll
have is a few hungry people instead of allot of dead ones!  ;)
