All,

We recently had the misfortune of having a 9.0G disk drive fail which was
logically pointed across many LDEV's. We are running MPEiX v5.5 on a 969.

My question is:
Would it be possible, via MPEX's ALTFILE <filename>(ondevice(#));DEV=#
command, to move all files from the bad disc, to the remaining good drives,
then logically and physically remove the bad drive to bring the system up?
Is this a feasible solution without having to re-load the system,
considering all the limitations of MPEX 5.5?

Thanks in advance!

Tony Gil
