I have *no* idea whether x=1.16 or 116% is correct (except that Jeff
Woods said he intuitively thought the answer would be between 1 and 2,
but closer to 1), but I know that I won't ever have to ask Dr. Nagy to
show *his* work! It easy to see that Dr. Atmar (For those of you who
didn't know) and Dr. Nagy are professors (I'm guessing about Dr. Nagy).
I couldn't *really* follow all of the solution, but I feel that if I
was in either's class they could bring me along to complete
understanding without making me feel too stupid.
Great work guys! You universities should be proud of you!
BTW, in case you haven't noticed from my previous postings, Jeff Woods
is my intellectual idol! I worked with Jeff in 1982 and 1983. He
astounded me with his ability to explain things and with his broad
based knowledge (He was 22 years old). He 'intuitively' knew the
answer to the 'goat' question was 1.?, and < 1.5! Ask him to explain
the differences in blood types (I don't remember the answer he gave,
but I remember his ability to explain it where I could understand it).
Jeff, you should join Dr. Atmar and Dr. Nagy in teaching.
Everyone have a great day. I'm going to spend it here being impressed
:).
