First of all Information Access is on the way out right ? We have reached
it's limits and so we're looking at ODBC and Impromptu for ad-hoc queries
and/or predefined "views".

Due to my obvious ignorance of ODBC, pointers to sources of information will
be gladly accepted as would specific answers :)

- ODBC would have to be set up on every PC. Right ?

- If ODBC is set up on every PC, what's to stop a user from (ab)using ODBC
i.e inserting all sorts of tables and fields in word and excel.

- Would a "file" DSN help in setting up or centrally controlling ODBC access
?

- How do I set up a "file" DSN in the windows95 ODBC Administrator (for the
ODBCse/32 driver to an Image/SQL DB)? I need ODBCse's specific arguments
don't I ?

- ODBC access to KSAMs is not free:) Correct ?

Thank you.
