Hi all !
While running smbclient I inadvertently broke out of it. When I tried to run
it again later
this what I got.
shell/iX> smbclient
**** EXEC FUNCTION FAILED; subsys =517; info = 48
ABORT: /SAMBA/PUB/bin/smbclient
NM SYS a.00ab24a0 dbg_abort_trace+$24
NM UNKN 209.008261f0
NM UNKN 94d.0004ac0c
[1] + Done(134) smbclient
157220926 Abort smbclient
I did a listfile,2 and much to my surprise I saw this.
SYS-B:listfile /SAMBA/PUB/bin/smbclient,2
PATH= /SAMBA/PUB/bin/
CODE ------------LOGICAL RECORD----------- ----SPACE---- FILENAME
SIZE TYP EOF LIMIT R/B SECTORS #X MX
NMPRG 128W FB 0 1939 1 256 1 * smbclient
I was able to FTP a copy of smbclient from another machine and all is well
(I think).
Does any one have any idea how this happen that a program file was
apparently
emptied?
