If they don't offer an Oracle 8 and Oracle 7 is not Y2K compliant, they are
going to be wide open to negligence lawsuits.
There's already such a lawsuit over ATM's in California.

BTW - The Cellphone GeoSat that went belly up? It's guidance
projected 600 days ahead. Guess what date was 600 days ahead of when
it freaked? 1-Jan-2000!
