This is indeed a formidable list, not so much due to its size, but rather
because of its representative cross-section. Whilst I appreciate the
desire for anonymity I tend to deplore the fact we don't see how people
voted. On this list we have vendors, HP labbies, users with multiple
systems, users with single systems, users with gigantic databases, users
with small databases, users with multiple databases and users with few
databases, users who run in-house applications and users who run
(out-house) packaged applications, and combinations of all of the above.

I submit that it might be interesting to see if there are things that, for
example, users w/ gigantic databases would like to see, VS those that users
with small databases desire.

The overdue shipment of rain has finally arrived in the Houston area
overnight, amidst fanfare and fireworks!

Kind regards,

Denys. . .

Subject: SIGIMAGE 1999 - Thank you to the following voters!

We have, as of now, 133 voters who cast their ballots for the SIGIMAGE
Improvement and Enhancement ballot.

As promised (and advertised), we did add a an "opt out" flag and for those
who emailed us, your name does not appear on the list - we thank you for
voting though - and you know who you are.

The list of people who have been good enough to cast their ballots is in
the
attached text file as generated from our Image/SQL database. Thank You!

If your name does not appear on the list (and you're not on the opt-out
list), you still have time. Polls will remain open until 29-March-1999 at
5:00 PM EST (-0500). We know there are more than 133 users of Image out
there -- now's your time to make your voice heard to HP! The URL is:
