Howdy,

This thread seems to have devolved to commentary on tier pricing.

A bit over a year ago we upgraded from a 947 to a 987 (wow what a
difference). Robelle, Adager and Vesoft were "cool", all other
vendors were tier priced. As I was writing some reports I was
trying to describe the actual act of paying for higher tiers
as "tiering" as it brought a tear to my eye. I eventually
substituted "hosing" although it was a close race with "screwing".

Hope I haven't offended anyone, but when the software upgrade costs
a dab over 5 times the cost of the hardware it really frosts my
chalupas.

My 2 pesos worth.
