I think your problem might be a duplicate occurrence of a
problem previously reported under SR 5003282111 , which is
described as a intra-session (cannot happen in a job, no
break processing) deadlock involving the CI variable table
lock and the terminal PACB (physical access control block).
It apparently can occur when a child of a CI is BREAK-ed
early during process creation, in a small timing window
where the CI variable table (or POSIX env) is copied by
the child.
You will only be able to get rid of that session with a reboot.

Does that mean you are already in touch with HP support about this
unabortable session ? If not, then I think you should follow up
with your RC.
If your problem is indeed a variation of SR 5003282111,
then I doubt that an NST patch will help.
