The files from the 3000 side probably have LF line delimiters (the Posix
style of text files, since zip and unzip are Posix based utilities) while
the PC side (at least simple editors like NotePad) expect CR+LF (the DOS
or Windows style).

It might work to use zip with the -l option (never used that myself, but
the oneline-help displayed when zip is called without parameters seems to
indicate a CR+LF versus LF conversion capability). I suspect that such a
zip file should only cover text files (as binary files might not survive
such a "conversion" in the same run).
