Are you in the INSTALL group on the CONSOLE, STREAMS 10/STARTSPOOL LP done, and running AUTOINST?  If so, that should do it.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Install hanging while installing FOS

Trying to do a new INSTALL of 7.5 on a 939-020. LDEV 1 is on a Model 20.

I'm going through the Checklist in the Software manual. I'm on step 5.7,
running AUTOINST. I've selected option 3 -- FOS, SUBSYS, and PowerPatch. I
have already done an INSTALL from factory SLT, configured all disk LDEV's
and added necessary volumes to the SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET.

System is at the step where it restores FOS files from tape. FOS is in DEV 7
and online. System says there's an unlabelled volume mounted on 7. There are
no RECALL's pending. However, the RESTORE is not proceeding. The tape is not
moving, there is no real disk activity, and no error messages. Just nothing
happening.

Any clues?
