We have an N series single 220 Mhz processor, Mpe 7.5. We are looking at
upgrading to 440Mhz and more ram, and have been quoted acceptable prices,
but by people who are more used to servicing UX boxes. Current label shows
:-

 

Base A6449B processor A6173A

 

Query - will the system accept a 440 without change to anything like the id
string? 

 

Same question for adding a couple GB of ram?
