Hi HP3000-L,

A fix is now available for retranslating your SL.PUB.SYS if you are affected
by the problem described by Stan:

        http://jazz.external.hp.com/src/scripts/sloctfix/

Please read the INSTALL.txt file, and then download I00STRSL and M00STRSL to
your e3000 (if you don't have AUTOPAT laying around, download that file
too).

Processing the STRSL files with AUTOPAT results in a new CSLT tape with a
correctly translated SL.PUB.SYS. Then UPDATE from the new CSLT to install
the fixed SL.PUB.SYS.

The ultimate fix for this issue is still being worked on, and involves
fixing our patch tools to behave correctly when translating SL.PUB.SYS.

- Mark B.

PS: I am just the conduit being used to get these files onto jazz, and I am
not involved with the creation of today's fix or the longer-term work.
