Sorry forgot to add one thing.

You must have some strange History lesson from where you are in the world.
Britain, France, Russia and Australia to name a few fought valiantly to win
the first world war. I believe America was involved at some point in the
end, but to claim they won it, is offensive and inaccurate. Try examining
the words "World War".

"An ardent Socialist by the name of Hitler "

You guys just can't help yourselves can you. I have never met anyone in the
world that views Communism and Socialism is such an unreasonable irrational
way as some people on this list. I personally don't like Communism or
extreme capitalism, but like any political system both have some merits.
Unfortunately historically Communism has failed because of dictators abusing
the system, not purely because of the political ideal itself. Socialism on
the other hand has been very successful in Europe forming the basis of most
governments and if your honest has a number of parallels with the American
constitution.

It's actually quite hard to find a concise definition of Socialism, but from
my point of view, it's principles of people being equal and that the wealth
should be fairly distributed amongst the people are decent principles even
if sometimes they are impractical and may seem unfair. On the other hand
you have the morally corrupt, yet perhaps, more practical ideal of
capitalism, where the rich and successful are rewarded at the expense of the
poor.

Hitler's party may have been called the National Socialist German Worker's
party (translated of course), but in the same way the Democratic Republic of
Congo isn't democratic, Hitler wasn't a socialist.

Hitler's policies and belief's don't really fit any previous political
groupings as such. He invented his own.

I don't see why you bring up Churchill now, there are no parallels
between the Nazi issue in the 1930s and Iraq of 2003. Or are there?

Germany had lost a war to America, but was not occupied by American
troops after WW1. An ardent Socialist by the name of Hitler took
control of Germany by murdering the opposition at the appropriate time
and place. He ruled Germany with an iron fist, had his own secret
police and terrorized the population and his neighbors.
