We have a PC running a Reflection session with a COBOL program that is
doing nothing but file transfers to a fax server (in the NT network), a
credit card authorisation server and so on. This program also looks for
files on the HP or in any directory on the NT server transfers them to
the required platform and eventually streams other jobs and threats the
output again if required. All this is written in simple COBOL using the
Reflection Command Language (some escape codes and RECEIVE, SEND, ...
commands). I can provide you the source or part of if you want. It works
just great.

Another tool we are using a lot is NetBase Client APIs in a Windows
environment and we doing pretty much the same with that, but it is a
little more complicated to do this kind of stuff.

If you need more info, please mail me directly.
