Sounds like a great idea. I too have often gone looking for an appropriate
environment file for a specific application and ended up frustrated.

I'd be happy to create a directory on our anonymous ftp server (ftp.3k.com)
where files can be deposited and picked up; as long as someone (besides me -
I'm overbooked at the moment) will volunteer to be librarian. I don't want
to allow anonymous posting of files (other people always find out these ids
and fill servers up with *inappropriate* files). So if I can have a volunteer
to collect and post these files, I'll give that person an id to post files
there, while anyone can pick them up.

I'd suggest that along with each pcl/env file, post a file with the same name
(with .txt appended) that describes the file - and the printers it's designed
for.
