Thanks for the replies.
I can't find these settings in rlogin and telnet so I don't think they are there.
As for other responses,
for rlogin: I get connected the 1st time, can login and configure. The problem is if I
logout and disconnect and try logging in again, Reflection launchs and then terminates with the
Windows send error to Microsoft window.

for telnet: I get to the box, get response but entering the password fails to login.

I am connecting to a LavaLink ether-serial box that allows serial access to our PBX over the network.

Oh, I don't have a copy of v14 and not really sure I want to make the leap. V9 works well for 3000 connection and I'm use to it.

Not sure about the "crash".
But for any non-MPE system,
I would
1. uncheck the Enq/Ack box,
2. uncheck the Use Host prompt.
3. uncheck the Typeahead option.
(I think the typeahead only works when a host prompt is used; not
completely sure)

So I setup Reflections rlogin and set the correct value for the username.
The first
time I can succefully login. If it close the connection and re-connect,
Reflection crashes
  immediately.

So, I tried telnet. I can get the prompts from our PBX including the
  PASS?
prompt but when I enter the password, I do not get logged in. I have done
a wireshark
capture and it does not appear to be an echo issue that I can see.
