hi all!

i've got a large-ish bytestream file on one of my 3000s that
i want (should be able) to view thru apache but am not able
to successfully. (it's a pdf file, btw).

i'm confident that the file is intact because i can view it
directly thru adobe reader. however, when i look at the
file thru either netscape or ie, at about the halfway point
in the file (page ~180 of ~350) the browsers locks up....cpu
goes to 100%...and off goes my three-finger salute (if you
know what i mean :-) to get to task manager. the file is
5134509 bytes. it's clearly a bytestream file. apache is
version 1.3.14 on a 7.0pp1 machine. - d 'grrrrr'

Come, my friends, 'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.

We are not now that strength which in old days
