And so I am reminded of an old joke.
A known criminal dies. He comes from a family of criminals, of the more
organized variety. His brother is heart-broken, and begins making it known
that we will donate a considerable sum of money to church of any minister
who will say in a eulogy that his deceased brother was a saint. There are no
immediate takers. Finally, a minister well known in the area announces that
he will eulogize the deceased, so long as he is paid up front. This creates
the buzz of a scandal, and for this and other reasons, there is a
considerable turn out for the service.
The minister explains the circumstances of the death of the departed, and
how they were a result of a life of crime, which started early and ran hard.
He goes on to list several of the crimes for which the man was known. After
a pregnant pause, he continues, "But compared to his brother... He was a
saint!".

<snip>.
Willie Sutton was the bank robber, and a nice guy by comparison. Both
criminals, but not in the same league.
