Hi Andreas & Mark :)
I was teaching a Computer Literacy Course on Internet Usage over the weekend
at the Oregon Military Academy, this last weekend; we had this problem alot :(
The DOIMS (pronounced "dooms"... appropriate I think!) standard is IE4 ....
but I had Netscape something or other loaded on the box as well... when we got
errors on a page we would fire up Netscape to view it... we must have found
about 10 of 'em while going thru military sites :(
Note: We found a few sites that also stated that they had no clue how their
pages would look in various browsers so didn't advocate any browser!
But then we also hit a few "Not available due to current ThreatCon Level"
messages too.... hmmm.... interesting :)
Art "Is it Tuesday yet? hehehe" Bahrs
P.S. DOIMS = Directorate of Information Management Systems
