Mr. Tracy.

Sorry, I was going to add that.

The MOD20 has 5 SCSI chains, A,B,C,D,E, so it does not go down the middle or up
down. There are 4 drives on each chain 0,1,2,3

Here's a bad attempt at ASCI Art.

  0 - A B C D E 1 - A B C D E

  2 - A B C D E 3 - A B C D E

The Default SP that controls the binded pair is the one that does the bind.
So, I bind 4 on one SP and 4 and the second SP.

By binding A0,B0 you will be binding across SCSI chains.

Remember the two console ports are seperate consoles!

I have an electronic copy of the Mod20 users manual, it has some pretty good
diagrams.

BTW, someone from HP wanted me to remind you that the MOD 20 does not report to
predictive, so it may be best to have a hot spare.

HTH,

-Craig
