RE: Your comment about a "Do-It-Yourselfer" migration tool

I'm more than curious.  A DIY would focus on a "Translation" type of migration project, as defined in the HP White Papers on e3000 migration.  Is tackling the huge editing task the reason, converting image to sql and generating your own point-and-shoot data migration?   Would you expect a DIY tool to help you "translate" the batch model from MPE to the native command language on the target platform?
