I've been watching the postings regarding COBOL people being retrained to
work in Java.  A few comments.... My experience is that senior COBOL
programmers command HIGHER pay than junior Java programmers.  Anybody
interested in a pay cut?  Experience does count even if some not-so-technical
managers  don't appreciate it.
