Seeing the "Backup 100 gig" postings go by has indirectly sparked some
interest here about tape changers and automated backups over the
weekends for our "remote" machine (hp957) and possibly our production
machine (hp958).

We have TurboStore and I can pare down our backup job to be completely
non-interactive. But we'd need a DDS/DAT tape changer. So my questions
are:

1) How have your experiences with tape changers been?
2) What vendors out there make the products?
3) What kind of support is offered for such products?
4) What are the $ costs?
5) Are there any hidden costs or risks?

More information to help answer the above questions:

1)  Machines:  957 & 958
2) Currently use 60m tapes (2 gig drive?)
3)  Full backup = max. 4 tapes Partial=max 2 tapes (w/TurboStore
compression=high), (3- 6 tapes for Sat+Sun)
4) Price is important, but not severely limiting.

Thanks In Advance (I get tired of typing acronyms)!
