The US Department of Defense computer security regulations are not
(as far as I can interpret them) "comfortable" with the "can't warn before
logon" thing either.

I second Mike's suggestion for a   LOGONPROMPT  command in MPE.
6.0 may be locked in, but there's always gonna be PP2, PP3, etc...

At least SIGMPE should add it to the Enhancement Ballot...
