The joke wasn't talking about JC. It said "I spoke to Caesar the other
evening.  He was livid that Julius hadn't done something about it when he
was sorting out the calendar.", pretty clearly identifying "Julius" and
"Caesar" as separate people. Coincidentally, Caesar Augustus, f.k.a.
Octavian, ran the show from something like 30BC to 14AD.
